For those that are participating in the Open, workout #2 will be administered. This is a tough one but we’ll all be able to move on the the next round assuming we can complete one rep NOT rounds, that’s doable! Below is the video that explains the workout and its particulars. I’ve also included the Burgener warm up video that we’ll do to prepare for the workout as well as another Burgener video demonstrating the “snatch” lift. Good luck!
For those doing the regular WOD.
Warm Up:
3 rounds of;
10 lunges (5 each leg)
10 sit up’s
10 hollow to superman
Xfit WOD:
With a running 20 minute clock, first minute 20 squats, 1 push up, next minute 19 squats, 2 push up’s, third minute 18 squats, 3 push up’s…etc. until finished. Make sure to “break” parallel during squats. If your hamstrings and abductors aren’t sore you’re NOT breaking parallel and may end up with sore knees. As for push up’s, chest and thigh must touch with FULL extension at the top for the rep to count.
